Your 5 Days Tanzania Honeymoon Safari from Zanzibar (Serengeti & Ngorongoro) journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar, followed by a flight to Arusha. As you leave the island behind, the scenery changes from ocean views to open landscapes.

Upon arrival, your guide welcomes you and you head directly to Tarangire National Park. The drive is comfortable and gives you your first glimpse of rural Tanzania.

Once inside the park, the safari begins. Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, creating a beautiful and relaxed setting for your first game drive. You take your time exploring, stopping for lunch and enjoying your first wildlife sightings together.

After breakfast, you begin the journey toward the Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands along the way. As you enter Serengeti, the environment opens up dramatically, and wildlife sightings begin even before reaching your camp. Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti in depth. You spend the day on game drives, following wildlife across different areas depending on movement and season. The Serengeti offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, with strong chances of seeing lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Your guide will adjust the route based on sightings, ensuring you get the most out of the day. You can choose to return to camp for lunch or enjoy a picnic in the bush, surrounded by nature. Each moment feels different, making this day one of the highlights of your safari.

You begin the day with a morning game drive, enjoying your last moments in Serengeti.

Later, you start your journey toward Ngorongoro. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes, and wildlife can still be seen along the way.

As you reach the Ngorongoro highlands, the environment changes again  cooler, greener, and more peaceful. You arrive near the crater rim in the evening.

After breakfast, depart from the Central Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. descend into the crater for a game drive in one of Africa’s most concentrated wildlife areas. In just a few hours, you may see lions, buffalo, elephants, and possibly rhinos. The landscape inside the crater is rich and diverse, with open plains, small lakes, and a hippo pool. After the game drive, you ascend the crater and continue to Karatu for the night, where the environment becomes cooler and more relaxed.
