Upon arrival, begin an exciting game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
You may also spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and warthogs. Tarangire is also home to more than 500 bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. Relax while taking in the stunning natural scenery.
Evening: Ngorongoro Highlands
In the late afternoon, depart Tarangire and drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Upon arrival, check in at Lion Paws Lodge

After an early breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 metres into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
Known as one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations, the crater offers an excellent opportunity to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the rare black rhinoceros. You may also see zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your wildlife adventure.
Later in the afternoon, return to Lions Paws Ngorongoro Lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin your scenic drive back to Arusha. Enjoy beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley, rolling hills, and local villages along the way.
