You arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, where your guide welcomes you and transfers you to your lodge in Arusha. This day is kept simple to allow you to rest after your journey and prepare for the safari ahead. In the evening, you receive a short briefing about the trip, giving you a clear idea of what to expect. It’s a calm start before the adventure begins.
After breakfast, you head to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. The park offers a strong introduction to wildlife, with animals often gathering near the river. You spend the day exploring different areas, enjoying your first real safari experience. The atmosphere is natural and less crowded, making it a perfect start.
You start early and descend into Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife in a short time. Animals are concentrated inside the crater, increasing your chances of seeing lions, buffalo, elephants, and possibly rhinos. The scenery is also impressive, with open plains and a rich ecosystem. After a day of game drive, you continue toward the Serengeti.
After your stay in Central Serengeti, the day begins with a morning game drive where you may spot predators such as lions or leopards before starting the journey north. As you drive toward Northern Serengeti, the experience becomes a full game drive, not just a transfer. Along the way, you begin to see more signs of the migration, with groups of wildebeest and zebras appearing across the plains. By the time you arrive in the north, you are already in the migration zone, ready for the next part of the safari.
Today is focused on the Mara River area, where the migration reaches one of its most dramatic stages. You head out early and spend time near the river, where herds of wildebeest often gather along the banks. Sometimes they wait for long periods before crossing, creating a sense of anticipation. If a crossing happens, it is fast and intense, with animals moving together while crocodiles wait in the water. Even without a crossing, the movement of herds and the presence of predators make the day active and rewarding.

After a morning game drive, you can either return to Arusha or take a flight, depending on your preference. Even on the way back, wildlife sightings continue, making the last part of the safari enjoyable. Upon arrival, you are transferred to the airport for your departure. The safari ends, but the experience stays with you.
