Day 1 Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Today, you will drive south to the lush Kibale Forest, famously known as the primatecapital of the world, home to 13 species of primates, including chimpanzees and several types of monkeys. Along the way, you will stop for lunch and enjoy the scenic
landscapes of western Uganda. After arriving at the lodge, you will have some free time
to relax and unwind after the journey. For those interested in a more immersive
experience, you can join a guided walk in the local community, learning about the
culture, traditions, and daily life of the people living around Kibale. This day combines
scenic travel, wildlife anticipation, and cultural exploration

Day 2 – Morning Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a hearty breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the
staff. You will then be assigned a guide for your chimpanzee trekking experience in
Kibale Forest, famous for its large population of chimpanzees. This trek offers a rare
chance to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.
After trekking, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway
connecting Lake Edward and Lake George, home to hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and a
variety of birds, including African fish eagles. The day concludes with a late afternoon
game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Isasha Sector

After a relaxed breakfast, you will travel to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth
National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. While sightings are not guaranteed,
there is a 60–70% chance of seeing these majestic predators, and spotting them
perched in a tree is a truly memorable experience. From Ishasha, you will continue your
journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, enjoying the scenic highlands of the
Kigezi region along the way. You will arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, and
settle in for dinner and an overnight stay. This day combines wildlife excitement with
stunning landscapes for a truly immersive Ugandan experience.

Day 4 – Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will proceed to the ranger’s post for a briefing on the dos and
don’ts during gorilla trekking. You will then enter Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a
spectacular rainforest with steep, densely forested terrain interlaced with animal trails
that allow access for visitors. The trek’s duration and difficulty depend on the
movements of the gorillas. Once a gorilla group is located, you will have an hour to
observe these gentle, endangered giants a truly unforgettable experience. After the
trek, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing evening and overnight stay,
surrounded by serene scenery and tranquil waters, completing a day of adventure and
extraordinary wildlife encounters.

Day 5 - Transfer to Entebbe

You’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your accommodation, taking in the spectacular views
of Lake Bunyonyi. Afterwards, you will begin your return journey to Entebbe Airport,
with stops along Masaka Road for lunch. You will continue the drive, arriving in the
evening for your airport drop-off. This marks the end of your unforgettable 5-day tour
of Uganda.
