Mount Meru is a dormant stratovolcano located in the Arusha Region of Tanzania, within the Arusha National Park. It stands at an impressive height of 4,562 meters (14,968 feet) above sea level, making it the fifth-highest peak in Africa. Often overshadowed by its more famous neighbor, Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru offers a fantastic climbing experience with breathtaking views and diverse landscapes.
