Day 2 Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the airport in Nairobi for a scenic flight to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. This remarkable reserve remains one of the last places on Earth where wildlife continues to live largely undisturbed, thriving in vast numbers across open plains and rolling savannahs.

As the northern extension of the great Serengeti ecosystem, the Maasai Mara is renowned for hosting the dramatic seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their natural predators.

Enjoy two full days of game drives in the Maasai Mara, with packed lunches provided for your convenience. The reserve is famous for its iconic black-maned lions and its abundant resident wildlife, making it one of the few places in Africa where you can spot the Big Five even during a single morning game drive.

Cheetahs here are remarkably accustomed to vehicles some may seek shelter from the midday sun under your car, while others even climb onto the roof for a better vantage point to spot prey.

Upon arrival, a comfortable road transfer will take you through scenic landscapes on the journey to Arusha city. Along the way, you can relax and reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters and unforgettable memories from your safari.

Day 6 Tarangire National Park

Day 8 Northern Serengeti National Park

This day is dedicated to full-day game drives in the Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa. The park is home to a variety of animals, including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is most famous for the spectacular migrating herds of wildebeest and zebras.

The timing and route of the migration depend on seasonal rainfall, with herds moving from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern grassy plains around November and December, then returning north during the long rains from April to June. Alongside the migration, predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs may be spotted stalking their prey.
