Your safari adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar and a transfer to the airport. From there, you will board a scenic light aircraft flight to Northern Serengeti National Park.
Upon arrival at Kogatende Airstrip at approximately 11:00 a.m., your private safari guide will welcome you. You will then begin a game drive through the wildlife-rich plains of Northern Serengeti.
The day's highlight is a visit to the famous Mara River. Depending on the season, you may witness dramatic wildebeest migration crossings as thousands of animals attempt to cross the river.
In addition, you will have opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife throughout the day.
Later in the afternoon, you will drive to your lodge or tented camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax as you spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Your day begins with an early morning game drive in Northern Serengeti National Park. This region is famous for the Great Migration and its dramatic Mara River crossings.
In addition to large wildlife herds, Northern Serengeti is home to more than 500 bird species. During your safari, you may spot ostriches roaming the plains, secretary birds hunting on foot, and black eagles soaring above the savannah.
At midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location inside the park. Afterwards, continue exploring different wildlife-rich areas during an extended afternoon game drive.
Later in the evening, return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner. Finally, relax and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in the heart of the African wilderness.
Early in the morning, you will head out for a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active. After breakfast, you will transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar. Consequently, your safari adventure comes to an end with unforgettable memories of the Serengeti.
