5-Day Luxury Serengeti, Ndutu & Ngorongoro Fly-in Safari from Zanzibar

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport in Zanzibar for a scenic direct flight to the heart of Serengeti National Park. The flight lands in the Central Serengeti (Seronera area), where your professional safari guide will welcome you upon arrival.

From the airstrip, you will begin your first exciting game drive through the vast Serengeti plains, heading toward your camp for lunch. In the afternoon, continue with a game drive exploring the wildlife rich landscapes of Central Serengeti, famous for its high concentration of predators and diverse wildlife.

During the drive  you will also visit a hippo pool  where you can observe large groups of hippos resting in the water while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. End the day with a breathtaking sunset over the endless plains of the Serengeti before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will set out for another exciting day of exploration in the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. This day is dedicated to a full game drive in the Central Serengeti, giving you the best opportunity to discover the incredible wildlife that makes this park world-famous.

Accompanied by your experienced safari guide, you will search for the Serengeti’s iconic animals including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and large herds of antelope that roam freely across the endless savannah. The Central Serengeti is especially known for its rich predator population, making it one of the best places in Africa to witness thrilling wildlife encounters.

During the day, you will also visit the fascinating Moru Kopjes ancient granite rock formations that rise dramatically from the plains. These kopjes are famous resting spots for lions and often provide excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.

To make the experience even more memorable, you will enjoy a scenic bush lunch in the heart of the wilderness, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Serengeti. After an incredible day of wildlife viewing, the safari continues into the late afternoon where you can witness a spectacular Serengeti sunset painting the sky over the golden plains.

You will then return to your lodge or camp to relax and unwind, sharing stories of the day’s sightings before enjoying dinner and a peaceful evening in the African wilderness.

After breakfast, you will depart from the Central area of Serengeti National Park and enjoy a scenic game drive south toward the wildlife-rich plains of the Ndutu Region.

Along the way, you will experience incredible wildlife viewing across the open savannah, with chances to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest and antelope that roam the Serengeti ecosystem. The drive itself becomes part of the adventure as you explore different habitats and landscapes while searching for wildlife.

You will arrive in the Ndutu area around midday and continue with a game drive before heading to your accommodation at Malaika Tented Camp for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive across the vast Ndutu plains, a spectacular area known for its rich wildlife and seasonal Great Migration activity. As the day comes to an end, return to the camp to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the peaceful wilderness of Ndutu.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive across the wildlife-rich plains of the Ndutu Region, located within the southern part of the greater Serengeti National Park ecosystem. Most of the day will be focused on exploring Ndutu, while also allowing flexibility to extend the game drive into the southern Serengeti plains where wildlife movement is often active.

This region is especially famous during the Great Migration calving season, when thousands of wildebeest gather on the short-grass plains to give birth. You may witness newborn calves taking their first steps while massive herds of wildebeest and zebras graze across the open landscape. The abundance of prey attracts many predators, giving you a chance to observe lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and sometimes leopards as they patrol the plains.

During the day, you will enjoy a scenic bush lunch in the wilderness, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of Ndutu and southern Serengeti. After lunch, continue exploring different habitats including open plains, acacia woodlands, and seasonal lakes where elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife can also be seen.

As the day comes to an end, you will return to your camp in the Ndutu Region to relax, enjoy dinner, and reflect on an exciting day of wildlife encounters in one of Africa’s most remarkable safari destinations.

After an early breakfast, you will depart from the Ndutu Region and begin a scenic drive toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. The journey takes approximately 2–3 hours, offering chances to spot wildlife along the way, including zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, and sometimes predators moving across the plains of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, you will descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a 5–6 hour game drive on the crater floor. Often referred to as one of Africa’s natural wonders, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, hippos, and if lucky, the rare black rhino.

During the safari, you will stop for a picnic bush lunch near the hippo pool, where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while watching hippos in the water and birds around the lake.

After lunch, continue with the game drive across the crater floor, exploring its diverse habitats such as grasslands, swamps, and soda lakes that attract a wide variety of animals and birdlife. In the afternoon, you will ascend back to the crater rim and begin your journey toward Arusha for your flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
