Along the way, enjoy your first glimpse of northern Tanzania as you pass local neighborhoods, vibrant roadside markets, and scenic views of the surrounding hills.

Upon arrival at the lodge, check in and relax in its peaceful garden setting. You can unwind in your comfortable room, take a stroll through the lush grounds, or relax by the swimming pool as you recover from your journey. The rest of the day is yours to relax and prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead.

Start your day with an early morning game drive and the chance to witness a breathtaking African sunrise as Serengeti National Park awakens. After a light cup of coffee, head out to explore the fresh plains, where wildlife is most active during the cool morning hours.

For an unforgettable experience, an optional hot air balloon safari over the Central Serengeti is available, offering a unique aerial view of the endless savannah, followed by a champagne-style bush breakfast upon landing.

After breakfast, continue your safari with a full-day game drive across different regions of the Serengeti, as your guide takes you to the best wildlife viewing areas based on current animal movements. This flexible approach allows you to explore various habitats, from open plains to riverine areas and rocky kopjes, increasing your chances of seeing a wide range of animals.

Throughout the day, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeests, especially if the Great Migration is in the area. Your guide will carefully track wildlife activity to ensure the best possible sightings.

After breakfast at your camp in Central Serengeti, you will depart with an en-route game drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you travel across the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, you may continue spotting wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, antelopes, and predators roaming the savannah.

Along the way, there is an optional stop at the famous Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites, often called the Cradle of Mankind. Here you can visit the small museum and viewpoint to learn about the discoveries of early human fossils made by Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey, which provide fascinating insight into the origins of humanity.

Continuing your journey, the landscape gradually changes as you enter the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. This area is known for its cool climate, rolling green hills, volcanic mountains, and scenic viewpoints. Along the way you may see traditional Maasai villages, cattle grazing on the hillsides, dense forests, and panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by the stunning scenery and wildlife of this unique ecosystem. After your game drive, you will ascend the crater and continue to Marera Valley Lodge, where you will check in, enjoy dinner, and relax for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart from Stone Town and travel to the northern coast of Zanzibar for a relaxing beach experience at the beautiful Nungwi Beach and Kendwa Beach.

Since you already explored the historic streets and cultural landmarks of Stone Town on your arrival day, today is dedicated entirely to relaxation and enjoying Zanzibar’s famous beaches. These northern beaches are among the best on the island, known for their powdery white sand, crystal clear turquoise waters, and minimal tidal changes, making them ideal for swimming and beach activities throughout the day.

You will spend the day relaxing on the beach, swimming in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, or enjoying the peaceful tropical atmosphere. The area is also famous for its stunning sunsets, offering a perfect end to your day in paradise Dinner and overnight at your beach resort in the Nungwi/Kendwa area. relax and enjoy the beauty of the Indian Ocean.

After breakfast at your hotel in Zanzibar, you will have some free time to relax and enjoy the final moments of your stay. You may take a short walk along the beach, enjoy the ocean views, or simply unwind at the hotel before departure.

At the appropriate time, your driver will transfer you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your onward flight back home.
