Absolutely unforgettable!!
Our safari through the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater was the trip of a lifetime and exceeded every expectation. From endless golden plains filled with wildlife to the dramatic beauty of the crater, every day felt like stepping into a nature documentary. We saw the Big Five up close, witnessed incredible predator action, and were constantly amazed by the sheer abundance of animals.Our guide Mustafa was outstanding—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about wildlife and conservation. He always knew where to go at the right time and shared fascinating insights about animal behavior and local culture. The accommodations were comfortable and well chosen, the food was excellent, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We had a wonderful experience with Colours Africa, who organized our 9-day tour with great care and professionalism. Any minor logistical issues that arose during the trip were handled promptly and efficiently.Thanks to the friendly and highly professional support of Derek (football addicted!) during the park safaris and Alan (spinach addicted!) during the guided visits, we were able to fully enjoy the beauty of all the destinations included in the itinerary. The Best Safari Experience - Authentic, Professional, and Truly Caring
Colours of Africa offered an outstanding safari experience that exceeded all our expectations! From the start, they listened carefully to our suggestions and created an itinerary that was both exciting and logistically seamless across Kenya and Tanzania.One of the absolute highlights was visiting the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes - Hatibu's recommendation turned out to be the most authentic cultural experience we've ever had. It was genuinely fascinating, completely natural, and gave us an incredible window into a different way of life.Our guides were exceptional. Victor in Kenya has an eagle eye for wildlife - he spotted animals from amazing distances and always knew where the action was happening. Derek in Tanzania brought a calm, reassuring presence to our journey, always putting our safety and comfort first while being great company. He also excelled at finding wildlife, and thanks to his suggestion, we witnessed the spectacular great migration - maybe the highlight of our trip!The person who arranged all this, Hatibu, offered an incredible support throughout the planning and the trip. He secured our preferred accommodations, provided all the documentation we needed for Kenya's ETA, and was remarkably responsive - answering every WhatsApp message within minutes, day or night. What really touched us was his follow-up after the trip to ensure we got home safely. Highly recommend Colours of Africa
We had a wonderful 2 week safari with this company in Northern Tanzania (Nov. 2025). In spite of very challenging circumstances (beyond their control), Colours cleared every hurdle to provide us with an amazing, safe and comfortable trip. Our guide, Norton, was a great fit for us a was very thoughtful to make the safari exactly as we wanted. He is great a spotter (mammals and birds) and stopped whenever we wanted, for whatever reason. The food was great, the accommodations very good and as described, and the wildlife viewing extraordinary! We felt their price to be very reasonable compared to many other companies.
